6 month thinking about it, and I still want this as a tattoo somewhere.

Yes/no?

Where?

I also, if getting this one, would have some of the same red worked into my current sole tattoo.

Seeing as I am never getting round to the "stars on my back in the shape of a constellation" tattoo (too much effort - I need to draw it to scale, and my back is bigger than A4)

True about the photocopying - but it's getting a good quality starmap of the constellation itself that's always proved a bit difficult, and then I have to think about what sort of stars.

I see what you mean about the symbol in the circle; but I still like it. What do you think of between the shoulder blades?

A good placement! I'd either put it there or the lower spine - like where my Smaug (http://www.steve.org.uk/Images/Tattoo/00.jpg) is. I like the bottom of the back because its easy to show and it's just where people put their hands!

I think it wants to be in the "middle" of you, because it's quite symmetrical and would look lopsided if it were to one side. (Unless you planned to balance it with something on the other side later).

I've never been too keen on having a tattoo where you have Smaug - no idea why, I think I want all my ID Marks up on the top quarter of me. So I can keep an eye on them maybe! - lower stomach and anything below the waist also does not appeal as tattoo locations. So I think I might go for this one, between the shoulder blades, and then work at getting that Piscese tattoo.

Next job I get, this is my treat :)
