anuranI found a really detailed bit of commentary on reddit about thr Christmas day truce in 1914 - there was hardly any football other than a few kickabouts, and the truce was mostly used to bury the dead in no man's land.

I regularly read /r/daystrominstitute for ultra serious star trek discussions, /r/skyrimmods, /r/buildapc, /r/actuallesbians, /r/OnceUponATime, /r/whatisthisthing... you get the idea
