More Agnes Fun

anuranThis may become a series. Agnes is a new person at work, who can't be older than 65 because they don't let you work after 65, and she's the sort of person who becomes overly excited about the prospect of Tombola. Her rambling irrelevant repetitive mode of speech requires the same patience I afford only to my 90 year old gran, yet at least my 90 year old gran isn't afflicted with ADD. I think Agnes is. And Agnes laughs like Mutley. My gran doesn't.
Today's Agnes story:
"You know what we need - we need a Typewriter cover shall I get one a TYPEWRITER COVER that's what we need I'll go and see if there's one in the cupboard, shall I? I bet there's one there a typewriter cover that would do the trick! eh? Eh? Eh? Typewriter cover!"
NO AGNES SIT DOWN! THE CIVIL SERVICE HASN'T USED TYPEWRITERS SINCE 1987!
