STUPID FLAT STUFF

OK, I'm sorry, my new flatmates are lovely and not the sort of people who would screw me over. Here's a story:

"The landlord's coming round Saturday or Sunday, can you clear your stuff out? We'll call you when he's been"
"Sure, no prob, £100 rent per month and I'm down south anyway"

Sunday night dawns. Or maybe Dusks.

"Hi, it's Sarah, has the landlord been?"
"Er no, he come round tomorrow maybe. I call you"

Monday night. Nothing. I call them from work
"He's still not been"

I've not heard anything. Now, this sort of silliness and a room with no windows or powerpoints is fine when you work a pub job, but for a 9 - 5 office one it's not. Neither is living with a bunch of people who have big parties at the weekends and smoke lots of cannabis. Fuck.

The happy point is - I can leave whenever I want, no notice, no deposit placed, none lost. hahaha. So if you do have a cheap room going soon, let me know! I could probably stretch to £200.
