Before and after mucking about with creating a convincing b&w picture in Photoshop. I think the clouds look rubbish.

... and you don't have much to work on, but if I wanted to bring out clouds against a blue sky on bw film I'd use a red fliter on the lens...

... so have you tried just taken the red channel from the colour picture, and using that to make the bw image?

It's difficult, isn't it? I tried the other day with a picture I took up at the white horse, but it didn't come out so well. I think I'll try the red filter thing.

Mm, my dad gave me a book that came free with Digital Camera magazine; I followed the tips in there but it's still a bit.. hmm. Maybe a better choice of picture!
