tech question

I've got broadband through Demon, which my dad pays for; my flatmates want to get rid of the BT landline because our quarterly bill was £17 of calls and £30 of line rental. It's me vs them, I'd like to lose the landline too.
Er, except for the broadband; obviously, I NEED THAT. the other flatmates have no interest whatsoever in computers or the internet, except once when Kathryn used it to look up knitting patterns.
Any ideas? Apart from the fact it's fairly irrelevant what with me probably going to live in a shack in a field in Blyth Valley for £20pm, which is about all I can afford now.

Date: 2005-06-03 10:31 am (UTC)Most of the people I worked with at Borders had had to apply more than once. (Ben and Iain, for example, and not a few of the people who were managers by the time I left.)
Alternatively, they may consider you over-qualified. Sucks, but at least your self-esteem remains intact. Again, no harm in reapplying every so often. (Also try phoning them a week or two after sending in the form - shows initiative.)
It won't be that they don't think you could do the job, so don't stress on that score.
