A very rough but fascinating page about the WWII Auxillery Bases still in existance in Northern England. The Auxilleries were men trained in top secret to conduct extensive Guerrilla warfare in the event of succesful Nazi invasion during the Second World War. They were all supposed to be destroyed, and the locations hidden in top secret files that only recently have been released, and some enthusiasts have managed to decode the co-ordinates. My dad took me to see one a few years ago.

The 1:50000 OS map square covering Rockall. It's theoretical though as the OS put Rockall on an inset in Landranger 18 (Sound of Harris, also with St. Kilda as an inset).
