The estate up north where I learned the magical art of counting black grouse is historically said to hold 3 Leks (that's the little arenas where the male grouse display at dawn, which is called lekking) each said to hold around 15 lekking males in the spring. Now there's one male, who sits in a tree and looks a bit sad. (by estate I mean country estate, not housing estate.)
